nope. still not better..
last week had some agonizing days. SO much pain in my feet, knees, wrists, back, hips, neck....
Went to the doctor to ask what to so. It has only been 2 weeks since starting the meds, however I should be feeling somewhat better. And I am not, just feeling the same and in some ways worse.
He confirmed that my levels are just the high level of normal, however my antibodies are "sky high".
I did another set of blood work, to see if the thyroid meds are working, and also to check again for inflammatory response, RA factor, and for Lupus.
He called the next day and said that it all came back good. The thyroid levels are getting better, and the other tests were negative.
So why do I still hurt? Why do I sleep on the couch everyday for a couple hours? Why do I have to suck wind just to keep up with my job? Why don't I have the energy to do anything with the kids?
Doing some research into gluten free diet.....there is a lot of info stating that Hashimotos and gluten intolerance's are correlated. It is a big commitment to change my entire diet, one that I have tried in many ways in the past. With not great success. But those times it was to lose weight....this time it is to avoid pain. Fatigue.
Also looking in to a naturopathic clinic as well, for a second opinion on how to deal with my issues....
now that we have benefits from Quinn's job, it will help.
I hope!
